Rooted

In the centre of Haarlem, the cutest house of the neighbourhood poses a challenge. When the family moved into the tiny town house it was a perfect fit. But now the snugness is forcing them to think outside of the box. We decided to go where the family struk roots, deep in the earth. To create the additional space the family needs to stay rooted we decided to add a space under the garden. The underground room wil house a washroom storage and a guest room. The layout of the house will be revised to fit the gained space of the growing family.
